Home Delivered Meal

​A meal provided to a qualified individual in his/her place of residence



​Assistance such as preparing meals, shopping for personal items, managing money, using the telephone or doing light housework.


Habilitative and Non-habilitative Services

Habilitative services are provided for the purpose of a person acquiring, building, maintaining or developing a skill of self-help, socialization, or adaption.  These services are accompanied by measureable goals and objectives.  

Non-habilitative services are outcome based services.  They are not accompanied by measureable goals and objectives. 
Health Care Services

The Division of Health Care Services provides access and oversight to Medicaid health care services to all eligible Alaskans.  The section of Residential Licensing provides licensing and oversight assisted living homes and other community services sites.

Home and Community Bases Medicaid Waiver Service

Some home and community based services are funded to persons that meeting a certain level of medical and functional need and also financial limits.
